We’re increasing the portfolio of Generation 4 LED drivers with our latest wave of product launches. 
The 90 watt and 120 watt excite drivers are perfect for large and powerful indoor luminaires that previously often required two drivers.
The SELV version in the essence series with key aspects such as sustainability, easy handling, and maximum flexibility. The series also focuses on the trend towards miniaturization.

We are also driving this trend in other product groups with new, smaller dimensions. Good examples are our in-track drivers that are now available in a new, particularly short design for 3-phase tracks, giving designers even greater freedom to create unique lighting solutions for the retail sector.

Another high-performance flagship product is in our range of drivers for industrial applications. With an impressive 220-watt driver and the efficiency of today’s LED modules allows industrial luminaires of 40,000 lumens to operate with just one driver. This means a less complex process when manufacturing luminaires and further improved efficiency, even in the harsh conditions of the industrial sector.

Indoor

Driver LC 14 / 28 / 38 W flexC or one4all NFC SC EXC3

The new excite driver (EXC3) completes the 230-volt range for spotlight applications. Depending on requirements, customers can choose between the dimmable DALI version with the one4all interface and a non-dimmable version. Both designs feature an NFC interface, which enables the output current to be flexibly adjusted. Thanks to its wide operating window, the driver series covers a variety of requirements in the retail sector. The stretched compact housing is suitable for various luminaire designs. This is the first emergency lighting driver for self-contained safety lighting that meets DALI-2 specifications. The support for LiFePO4 batteries and the Tridonic LiFeGuard function ensure a long life and reliable operation.

In the fifth generation the LED module for ceiling- and wall-mounted luminaires will be available in four more sizes. The extended range of output currents means that there is a wide variety of suitable drivers to choose from. At CRI 90, the smaller modules up to 160 mm achieve outstanding colour rendering, making them ideal for retail applications. Thanks to separate integrated emergency LEDs, CLE ADV5 takes care of emergency lighting with ease and without the need for any additional luminaires. For applications with control requirements, some module sizes are available as SO versions which are compatible with our SWITCH Sensor 5BP.

The new, extra-long modules extend the range for linear and surface luminaires. The essence modules (SNC3) are available in two lengths and can be used for a variety of applications thanks to four colour temperatures. The modules can be combined with 20-millimetre-wide ACL covers and end caps. Each LLE module is equipped with a third plug-in terminal and an integrated feedback loop, which significantly decreases the amount of wiring work required.

The new version of the 3-phase in-track driver supports the miniaturisation of track lighting. Four output currents in each driver, which can be selected via the DIP switch, and optimised forward voltage open up a wide range of applications and reduce system costs. The constant current driver is available in black, white or grey.

This robust and reliable driver is particularly suitable for challenging areas of application such as production and assembly halls. Its optimized power output of 220 watts allows industrial luminaires of up to 40,000 lumens to operate with just one driver. For manufacturers, this means less wiring and lower costs. 
Included is also an inrush current limiter in which limits the pulse of the inrush current and thus allows up to three times as many LED drivers to be connected to one circuit breaker, without the peak inrush currents overloading the electrical wiring.

The fourth generation of excite drivers (EXC4) has been expanded to include new 90 watt and 120 watt versions, completing the non-SELV portfolio. Depending on requirements, the driver series offers non-dimmable and dimmable versions.

The motion sensor can be installed at heights of up to 5 meters and detects motion through glass and thin materials. When there is sufficient brightness, the bright-out function prevents the luminaire from switching on, thus avoiding unnecessary power consumption. The light values, delay time and detection range of the bright-out function can be set via nine DIP switches.

Light in the workplace
 
Can we expect more from good lighting in the workplace than just the required brightness? We know that light can play a part in maintaining human health. In many workplaces, light is also a factor for safety. Lighting that has a stimulating effect promotes the ability to concentrate and thus also occupational safety. Luminaires with Activating Light LED modules enhance concentration and performance.

A special spectrum makes it possible: our developers have worked with various partners on a spectrum that transforms the stimulating effect of cooler light into a pleasantly neutral colour temperature of around 4200 Kelvin. With this solution, you can help your customers use light to create a pleasant working environment and to improve employee performance and health.
